Scarlett Johansson promises the paparazzi they’ll never catch her falling out of a bar drunk, because she’s boring and hates going out. The actress is rarely seen stepping out with husband Ryan Reynolds, and she admits she prefers quiet nights at home to wild parties with her peers. Johansson tells the May issue of InStyle magazine, “You’re not going to find me at 4 a.m. hitting up the club. I’ve just never been much of a clubby, nightlife kind of person. I’m not a social butterfly. “(And) I’ve never been part of a scandal that was really juicy.”

Scarlett Johansson’s Comforting Marriage

Scarlett Johansson finds marriage “comforting”. The Iron Man 2 star – who wed actor Ryan Reynolds 18 months ago – admits tying the knot changed her life but finds their union reassuring. She said: “I mean, you’re married and suddenly you have your own family. There’s a nice comfort in that. That part of your life is certain, in a way. You’ve got your home in that other person.” The Lost in Translation actress insists she prefers a quiet life at home and loves nothing more than cooking for her husband. She added to America’s In Style magazine: “He loves to eat. I like cooking alone – I find it very therapeutic. I put on some music, maybe have a glass of wine, and make something like a turkey Bolognese or a nice frittata.” “You’re not going to find me at 4 a.m. hitting up the club, bottle full of bub. Maybe on a rare occasion. But I’ve just never been much of a clubby, nightlife kind of person.” The 25-year-old beauty’s relationship with Ryan, 33, has also been praised by her co-stars, with Iron Man actor Robert Downey Jr. believing they are perfect for one another. He said: “I’m crazy about Ryan. I think they’re a great couple, a really natural fit for each other. They’ve really come into themselves since they’ve been fully together.”

Scarlett Johansson Not Just A Hot Chick

Scarlett Johansson didn’t get cast in Iron Man 2 just because she is a “hot chick”. The 25-year-old actress plays sexy Russian spy Black Widow in the superhero movie but her co-star Robert Downey Jr. – who plays the titular character and his alter-ego Tony Stark – insists he and director Jon Favreau didn’t just want her to eye candy. Robert said: “We were thrilled to get Scarlett and we said to her, ‘You’re not going to be some kind of Marvel spin-off story thing because we want a hot chick kicking a*s in this movie.’ And I think we managed that.” In the sequel – which is based on the Marvel comic book series – Scarlett’s character is involved in a love triangle with Tony and his assistant Pepper Potts, who is played by Gwyneth Paltrow. Robert added in an interview with the Daily Record newspaper: “A love triangle is a device, and a love triangle is convenient, and a love triangle – even done badly – is better than not having one at all.” Robert also stars in the movie with Mickey Rourke, who plays Russian super-villain Whiplash, and Samuel L. Jackson, who portrays super-spy Nick Fury.

Love Wants Pattinson & Johansson For Cobain Biopic

Courtney Love is keen to give the big screen story of her life a glamorous overhaul – she reportedly wants Scarlett Johansson and Robert Pattinson to play her and late husband Kurt Cobain in a planned biopic.Speculation about a movie retelling of the Nirvana frontman’s turbulent life has long been rife, but recent reports suggest The Messenger director Oren Moverman is in talks to helm the film, based on Charles R. Cross’ 2001 book Heavier Than Heaven: A Biography of Kurt Cobain. And according to Britain’s The Sun newspaper, Cobain’s widow Love is acting as an adviser on the project for film studio Universal Pictures – and is considering signing up an eager Pattinson to portray the doomed rocker. A source tells the publication, “This is a big money deal for Courtney. She has agreed to the film on condition that she gets to decide the main aspects of the project including director, casting, screenplay and music. Robert has been calling and emailing her non-stop… he is her number one choice to play Kurt.” And the Hole frontwoman has her sights set on another hot Hollywood star for the film – buxom blonde Johansson. The source adds, “She is adamant Scarlett will play her. Scarlett is friendly with Frances Bean, her daughter with Kurt.” Cobain died from a gunshot wound to the head in an apparent suicide in 1994.

Johansson: ‘Wedding was like a drug deal’

Scarlett Johannson has compared arranging her wedding to doing a drug deal. The actress, who married Ryan Reynolds in 2008, explained that she had tried to keep the ceremony private. Speaking to David Letterman, she explained: “I got married in a very remote part of Canada. Well, that’s probably most of Canada! “It’s absolutely unbelievable. I mean, where we got married there were bears and whales and eagles.” Johannson added: “I never thought that I’d be planning my wedding in, like, a dark alley somewhere, but it’s turned out that way. It was really quite secretive and I felt like I was doing a drug deal without all the fun. “We tried to be very private about it and it seemed to pay off. There was a moment – it was at the edge of earth, absolutely the middle of nowhere, but we did have helicopters. That was terrifying.”
