Hugh Jackman is protective over his former costar Scarlett Johansson but says she has a good man in his X-Men colleague Ryan Reynolds.
“Ryan Reynolds is one of the funniest guys I’ve ever met,” Wolverine’s alter ego, currently promoting his new movie Deception, tells Entertainment Tonight Canada.
Adds Jackman: “And umm, we had a really good chat about his girlfriend, because I’m very fond of Scarlett, and both my wife [Deborra-Lee Furness] and I are very [proprietary] about Scarlett, [and] he got a big thumbs up from me.”
The Australian, 39, advised his 23-year-old costar, who appeared with him in 2006’s Scoop and The Prestige, “So Scarlett, if you’re watching, big thumbs up!”
Asked if he were bestowing his blessing upon the couple, Jackman replied, “I’m giving my blessing, exactly.” Fearful he was sounding old fashioned, however, Jackman further enthused about Reynolds, 31, “He’s phenomenal.”

Our very own Scarlett Johansson has a spot in FHM Magazine’s 100 Sexiest Women of 2008. Scarlett Johansson is ranked at number six – she made the Top Ten. Congratulations, Ms. Johansson!
The album is due in stores on May 20, 2008. However, that doesn’t mean you won’t get to listen to at least one song in advance. AOL has added Scarlett’s song titled “Falling Down” to their site. Now you can listen to it!
“Frankly, we’re pretty impressed by Scarlett Johansson’s first real foray into music, Anywhere I Lay My Head, a collection of Tom Waits songs. After time-consuming attempts at finding a producer to help her nail the sounds she’d imagined, Johansson met her match in Dave Sitek, guitarist for TV on the Radio. “I knew I wanted a sort of dreamlike, ambient sound, and we didn’t want to shy away from the cinematic aspects of the songs,” Johansson tells the S.S.
“Dave and I had the same vision, and it turned out to be everything I’d imagined.” With musicians like Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner, the crew holed up at a Louisiana studio, and the bayou vibe crept into recordings like “Green Grass,” “Town With No Cheer” and, of course, “I Wish I Was in New Orleans.” (David Bowie makes an appearance, doing backing vocals.) Though Waits hasn’t yet heard Johansson’s takes on his tunes, Johansson doesn’t seem nervous: “Once we started recording, I became less fearful of encountering Tom Waits in a dark room with a mallet.”

Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds’ relationship is reportedly on the rocks. A source said:
“Scarlett and Ryan have hit a rough patch after he dared to broach the subject of marriage and kids. Scarlett is younger and has no desire for a husband or family just yet.”
Although, it was reported that Scarlett had moved into Ryan’s home in L.A. without her mother’s approval, her friends suggest that it’s just a base for her while she travels and works on filming movies. One friend said:
“Scarlett hasn’t moved in full-time. She has just moved in so when she stays over she has some belongings there. She is very much focused on her career and is filming three movies back-to-back this year.”

Scarlett Johansson’s album is scheduled to release May 20, 2008. The above is the album cover.
I’m in desperate need of help. My offline life is also very busy, and I really can’t juggle the site and school at once. I really don’t want to put the site on hiatus, but I don’t see any other options. However, if someone is willing to help me run the site, I would appreciate that very much. Nonetheless, I do have some demanding requirements.
