Prince Charles attended the London screening of a new movie about Britain’s royal family and met with some of its actors Tuesday night.
“The Other Boleyn Girl” is a film about Anne and Mary Boleyn battling to win the affections of Henry VIII, who was the king of England from 1509 until his death in 1547.
Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson star as the Boleyn sisters. The actresses talked with Prince Charles and his wife, Camilla, the duchess of Cornwall, at the Odeon cinema.”
It looks as though Miss Johansson had a great time at the London premiere, which is always good to hear. Let us hope The Other Boleyn Girl does really well. Show Scarlett some support and go see the movie, and report back to Scarlett-Web your review!
For the second time in a row, sports brand Reebok has brought actress Scarlett Johansson on board to create a more female line by the name of Hearts Rbk. For the Hearts collection, the actress closely worked with the design team to make sure the line represents her personal taste. She used a bright palette of colours and fabrics such as lux leather, velvet and cashmere to give the collection a sporty and glamour look. Scarlett comments: “My ‘Scarlett Hearts Rbk’ collection made it possible to design clothes for my friends, real girls who have female features.’
The collection ranges from SJ Swell Hoodies to SJ Seersucker Jackets, and from SJ Jumpsuits to SJ Twill Double Knit Hot Shorts. The Hearts collection is currently available from Selfridges.
Reebok International is based in Kanton, Mass. and is one of the global leaders in sportswear and casual footwear. The company is part of the Adidas Group, that also represents CCM, Jofa en Koho.
Scarlett Johansson says Tom Waits has given the thumbs-up to her debut album, which features covers of 10 tunes written by the notoriously persnickety musician.
“Anywhere I Lay My Head” will be released May 20 via Atco/Rhino. David Bowie, whom Johansson met a party just prior to beginning work on the album, lends his distinctive vocals to the tracks “Falling Down” and “Fannin’ Street,” while Yeah Yeah Yeahs guitarist Nick Zinner and members of the band Celebration contribute throughout. The album was produced by Dave Sitek of the New York rock band TV On The Radio.
The album also boasts one original tune, “Song for Jo.” Johansson said she initially considered making an album of standards, but the project slowly morphed into a Waits-dominated affair. “His melodies are so beautiful and his voice is so distinct,” she said at a news conference Tuesday.“I sent him some of the early, early recordings, and he said, ‘Go ahead,”‘ she added. “I’ve heard he’s very pleased.”
There are no plans for Johansson to perform live in support of the project, but she says she’d be intrigued by “getting everybody together,” perhaps at a festival, at some point in the future. “It would be a missed opportunity not to.”

This is a very long interview. I have the whole interview in this update, for those of you who want to read it all, just click on “Full Story” and you can.
Sister Act
Scarlett Johansson and Natalie Portman?cast as rivalrous siblings in The Other Boleyn Girl?have seemingly nothing in common. But as it turns out, the utterly uninhibited bombshell and the self-possessed pixie are more like sisters than you’d think.
It’s not easy to find a man whose celebrity crush list includes both Natalie Portman and Scarlett Johansson. Both actresses are gorgeous, sure, but in such different ways that they seem almost of separate species. The 23-year-old Johansson is a modern Marilyn Monroe, complete with platinum mane, fleshy curves and a sexy-throaty voice. The 26-year-old Portman, in contrast, is the very embodiment of delicacy and refinement: small, perfectly shaped features, boyish body and careful Ivy League diction. Read the rest of this entry →
Scarlett Johansson and Ryan Reynolds aren’t walking down the aisle after all. A New York newspaper and web sites reported this morning that Johansson, 23, was seen shopping for wedding dresses at a Monique Lhuillier boutique in L.A. with her mother and sister recently. But her rep tells Usmagazine.com, “A family member is getting married, not her. She is not engaged.”
The following update might not be suited for everyone, that is why I am having you highlight if you want to read it. To read, please highlight from where you see the quotation marks.
“Scarlett Johansson and Penelope Cruz will have lesbian sex in Woody Allen’s new film. The sexy actresses will “leave the audience gasping” with their steamy love scene in Allen’s upcoming ‘Vicky Cristina Barcelona’. A source said: “It is extremely erotic. People will be blown away and even shocked. Penelope and Scarlett go at it in a red-tinted photography dark room, and the whole scene will leave the audience gasping.” Later in the film, both women indulge in a threesome with Penelope’s real-life boyfriend Javier Bardem. This isn’t the first time Penelope has pushed sexual boundaries on screen. In the music video for her brother Eduardo Cruz’s song ‘Cosas Que Contaro?’ Penelope locked lips with a woman who was originally thought to be her sister Monica. However, representatives for the Spanish actress later revealed the woman was a look-a-like.“
