HARD-FI frontman Richard Archer has hit out at the British tabloids for labelling him a liar after Scarlett Johansson denied rumours of a romance between them. Last year (06) it was reported the rocker and actress had started dating while the beauty was filming Woody Allen movie Scoop in London. When Johansson declared “I’ve never met him, and until all this started, I’d never even heard of him”, one newspaper accused Archer of creating the rumours himself. He says: “It was a total lie. And when I rang the newspaper to tell them, they just ran another story saying I was a fantasist and that I’d made the whole thing up for publicity. “The w**kers.” [SOURCE]
